The All-Gils grudge match and a huge one between Houston and San Diego highlight this week’s matches. Read along below to see what’s on deck for this weekend.

New England Free Jacks vs. Old Glory DC
Friday, 7 p.m. Eastern at Veterans Memorial Stadium

Old Glory has played much more inspired ball lately, and is actually on a two-game win streak. Playing against New England, currently on the longest win streak in MLR history, in Quincy will quickly put an end to that. 31-20, Free Jacks.

Utah Warriors vs. Rugby ATL
Saturday, 10 p.m. Eastern at Zions Bank Stadium

The Warriors are in the midst of a lengthy slide, while Rugby ATL just dropped a tough one to LA in the 2021 Shield Rematch. I trust ATL to rebound on the road, 24-17.

Toronto Arrows vs. Rugby New York
Sunday, 12 p.m. Eastern at York Lions Stadium

The Arrows are fighting for their playoff lives, and will be doing so at home. Give me Toronto and some Eastern Conference drama, 31-28.

LA Giltinis vs. Austin Gilgronis
Sunday, 6 p.m. Eastern at LA Memorial Coliseum

This is the big one. And Matt Giteau is back for LA. Both teams are playing great ball right now and look like top tier contenders for the Shield. I’ll take home field and some inspirational play around Gits. 23-20, LA to split the season series.

San Diego Legion vs. Houston SaberCats
Sunday, 7 p.m. Eastern at the San Diego Sports Deck

This is another massive Western Conference clash with playoff implications. I say San Diego uses home field advantage to earn the split, 31-28.

Seattle Seawolves vs. Dallas Jackals
Sunday, 10 p.m. Eastern at Starfire Sports Complex

This just isn’t Dallas’ year. 34-20, Seattle.

Last Week’s Predictions: 4-1

Season’s Predictions: 51-23
